2021 The Year of Good Health

I have decided that this year has to be healthier. Like most people I thought we would be out and about, travelling, shopping etc. by now, so why did I keep on eating, watching films (whilst sewing obviously), decluttering (not my fabric) instead of exercising and not thinking that eventually I would have to put normal clothes on.  I blame the slow deliveries of fabric as I lost momentum for a short time and then took more time to get it back.

I have so much love for the front line workers at this time but also I am desperate not to meet any of them up close so my mission is to sew, exercise, sew, eat healthier, sew and exercise. Also I am working on some small quilts to donate to the staff at our local hospital which is my way of saying thank you.

Good news is that fabric has started to arrive, I received the outstanding bolts from the Jane Austen range and the new Tilda Woodland range with three of the chambrays in blush, grey and petrol. There are loads more in the pipeline, will let you know when they arrive.

I also ordered some of the Sally Kelly fabrics from her Fantasy range which is not the newest one out but I liked them and thought that they would work with a lot of other fabrics. I have decided that this is the way I have to work, order fabric I like and that is inspiring - this may not be the best business practice but I feel that if I can work with it then so can others and I don't want to stock only one type of fabric.  I may have to change but will try and fingers crossed it works.
